employment services

As one of the largest providers for Pierce County Community Connections, Centerforce serves approximately 319 individuals with disabilities per year through the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) programs. Centerforce serves these individuals in three service areas throughout King and Pierce Counties.  These services assist our clients in becoming independent members of our community.  We provide direct face-to-face support needed to strengthen the clients’ relationship and actions within the local community.

  • Group Supported Employment (GSE): Individuals receive supervised on-the-job training on mobile crews, in small groups and enclave settings, which enables them to learn valuable employment skills.
  • Foodservice Education & Training: Designed to provide training to individuals with disabilities that prepares them for community-based jobs in the foodservice industry.
